马太福音19:23-26：23耶稣对门徒说：“我实在告诉你们：财主进天国是难的。24我又告诉你们：骆驼穿过针的眼，比财主进 神的国还容易呢！”25门徒听见这话，就希奇得很，说：“这样谁能得救呢？”26耶稣看着他们说：“在人这是不能的，在 神凡事都能。”
我们应该把这段经文牢记在心。我们生活的国家是世界上最富裕的国家。有时候你能听到人们有些厌恶地谈论到，这个国家百分之一的人口控制着所有的财富。你是否知道，如果你一年的薪水超过32,000美金，你的收入实际列位于全球最高的1%。但是我们仍然在抱怨！
为什么有钱人很难被拯救？因为我们可能花时间追求享乐而不是追求天国。因为我们可能爱钱财多于爱上帝。金钱可能让我们偏离正路。我们鄙视那些真正的有钱人，这个事实本身意味着我们对于生命中什么是重要的这件事充满偏见。
“这样谁能得救呢？”门徒问。耶稣回答在人这是不能的，在神凡事都能。事实是穷人也救不了自己。没人能拯救自己。但是我们相信上帝藉着耶稣已经成就了不能之事。他拯救了像我这样的可怜之人。
祷告：主耶稣，请你原谅我过多地关注世俗的事物和属世的财富。请让我定睛在你的身上，因为你永远是我的力量，我杯中的份。让你救恩的奇迹永远长驻我心。阿们！

Matthew 19:23-26: Then Jesus said to his disciples, “Truly I tell you, it is hard for someone who is rich to enter the kingdom of heaven. 24 Again I tell you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for someone who is rich to enter the kingdom of God.” 25 When the disciples heard this, they were greatly astonished and asked, “Who then can be saved?” 26 Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”
We should take this to heart. We live in the wealthiest country in the world. You have sometimes heard people talk with disgust about the 1% of the people in our country who control all the wealth. Did you know that if you earn more than $32,000 a year, you are considered among the top 1% of the wage earners in the world? And all we do is complain!
Why is it so hard for the rich to be saved? Because we can spend our time pursuing pleasures instead of the kingdom. Because we can love our money more than God. Because our money can become a distraction for us. The very fact that we despise the really rich means that we have a skewed attitude when it comes to what’s important in life.
“Who then can be saved?” the disciples asked. And Jesus said that with man it is impossible, but with God all things are possible. The fact is that even a poor man cannot save himself. No one can save himself. But we believe that God in Christ has done the impossible. He has saved even such a wretch as me.
Prayer: Lord Jesus, forgive me for paying too much attention to earthly things and worldly riches. Keep my eyes focused on you, because you are my Strength and my Portion forever. Let the miracle of your salvation dwell in my heart always. Amen.
