马太福音26:47-50
47说话之间，那十二个门徒里的犹大来了，并有许多人带着刀棒，从祭司长和民间的长老那里与他同来。48那卖耶稣的给了他们一个暗号，说：“我与谁亲嘴，谁就是他。你们可以拿住他。”49犹大随即到耶稣跟前说：“请拉比安”，就与他亲嘴。50耶稣对他说：“朋友，你来要作的事，就作吧！”于是那些人上前，下手拿住耶稣。
橄榄园里一片黑暗，就像耶路撒冷城外的一片小树林。今日它依然在那里，古老的橄榄树守卫着这个耶稣曾经祈祷和被出卖的地方。当时耶稣身边有十几个门徒，当他看到犹大到来，他其实很容易逃脱并消失在黑暗的树林中。这也是为什么犹大要近距离接近耶稣的缘故。这样，同他一起来的兵丁就不会认错了。他同意用一个吻来出卖耶稣，这本是朋友之间表示问候的举动。犹大的良心似乎完全丧失了，被贪婪和对钱财的热爱蒙蔽了。
“朋友，你来要作的事，就作吧！”耶稣说。我相信耶稣一生中从未说过一句无心之语。我也相信耶稣并没有用这些话来弃绝犹大。他仍然爱他，就像唯一真正热爱敌人的人能做的那样。甚至是现在，犹大已经和那些来逮捕他的士兵站在一起了，他仍试图穿透他灵魂的黑暗，带领他悔改。
永远也不要认为时间已经太晚来不及悔改了；也永远不要认为耶稣会弃绝你于不顾。永远不要以为那位为你而死的耶稣不愿意做你永恒的朋友。保罗在罗马书5:10 写到：“因为我们作仇敌的时候，且藉着神儿子的死得与神和好；既已和好，就更要因他的生得救了。”
祷告：主耶稣啊，我向你祈求，使我永远不偏离你，求你使这世界上没有什么能够迷惑我，让我的良心被遮蔽，或让我的心变得刚硬。但我知道我是何等的软弱。求你做我的力量、我的拯救；做我现在和永恒的朋友。我奉你的名祈求，阿们！
Matthew 26
Matthew 26: 47-50: While he was still speaking, Judas, one of the Twelve, arrived. With him was a large crowd armed with swords and clubs, sent from the chief priests and the elders of the people. 48 Now the betrayer had arranged a signal with them: “The one I kiss is the man; arrest him.” 49 Going at once to Jesus, Judas said, “Greetings, Rabbi!” and kissed him.
50 Jesus replied, “Do what you came for, friend.”
It was dark in the olive grove. It was like a small forest just outside the city of Jerusalem. It is still there today, with ancient olive trees standing guardian over this place where Jesus prayed and where he was betrayed. With a dozen disciples it would have been easy for Jesus to slip away when he saw Judas coming and disappear in the darkness and the trees. That’s why Judas wanted to get close to Jesus, very close, so that the soldiers with him would not miss. He agreed to betray Jesus with a kiss, the act of a friend greeting a friend. It seems Judas had lost his conscience altogether, obscured by his greed and his love for money.
“Do what you came for, friend,” Jesus said. I don’t believe Jesus ever said a careless word in his life. I don’t think that Jesus was dismissing Judas with these words. He still loved him, as only one who really loved his enemies could. He tried to reach through the darkness of his soul to bring him to repentance even now, when he stood with the soldiers to arrest him.
Don’t ever think it is too late to repent. Don’t ever think that Jesus has dismissed you and cast you aside. Don’t ever think that the one who died for your does not want to be your friend for eternity. Paul wrote in Romans 5:10, “For if, while we were God’s enemies, we were reconciled to him through the death of his Son, how much more, having been reconciled, shall we be saved through his life!”
Prayer: Lord Jesus, I pray that I would never turn aside from you, that no earthly passion or obsession would ever cloud my conscience and harden my heart towards you! But I know how weak I am. Be my strength and my salvation! Be my friend for now and for eternity! I ask this in your name. Amen.
