•1:6 再者， 神使长子到世上来的时候（注：或作“ 神再使长子到世上来的时候”），就说：“神的使者都要拜他。” 1:7 论到使者，又说：“神以风为使者，以火焰为仆役。”1:8 论到子却说：“神啊，你的宝座是永永远远的，你的国权是正直的。1:9 你喜爱公义，恨恶罪恶，所以 神，就是你的 神，用喜乐油膏你，胜过膏你的同伴。”1:10 又说：“主啊，你起初立了地的根基，天也是你手所造的。1:11 天地都要灭没，你却要长存；天地都要像衣服渐渐旧了，1:12 你要将天地卷起来，像一件外衣，天地就都改变了。惟有你永不改变，你的年数没有穷尽。”1:13 所有的天使， 神从来对哪一个说：“你坐在我的右边，等我使你仇敌作你的脚凳”？1:14 天使岂不都是服役的灵、奉差遣为那将要承受救恩的人效力吗？
希伯来书的作者再次引用经文来表明耶稣是神，而且远比天使更尊贵。他首先引用了诗篇102章25-27节谈到耶和华创造了天地。当主耶稣再来的时候，他们将要被卷起来，像一件外衣被改变。但是耶稣永不改变，他的年数也没有穷尽。因为天使是受造物，造物主当然更尊贵！
耶稣在将自己的身份教导给他的敌人时，引用了诗篇110章1节。诗篇的作者开篇说到：“耶和华对我主说。。”耶稣又继续说：“大卫既称他为主，他怎么又是大卫的子孙呢？”（马太福音22章45节）。从耶稣的人性看，他是大卫的子孙；但从耶稣的神性看，耶稣是大卫的主。基督既是真神也是真人，体现于同一个位格。

Again, the writer to the Hebrews uses Scripture to show that Jesus is God and much better than the angels. First he quotes Psalm 102:25-27 that speaks of how the Lord created the heavens and the earth. They will be rolled up and changed like a garment when Jesus comes on the last day, but Jesus will remain the same. His years will never end. Since angels are created beings, the Creator is better!
Jesus used Psalm 110:1 to teach his enemies about himself. The Psalmist begins by saying, “The LORD said to my Lord…” Jesus then went on to say, “If David calls him Lord, how can he be his son?” (Matthew 22:45). According to his human nature, Jesus is David’s son. But according to his divine nature, Jesus is David’s Lord. The Christ is both true God and true man in one person.
The writer to the Hebrews focuses on the rest of that verse: “Sit at my right hand until I make your enemies a footstool for your feet.” The Psalmist prophecies that the Messiah would ascend to God’s right hand and rule over everything in heaven and on earth. Jesus did that. Angels are only ministering spirits that serve the saints and are at Jesus’ beck and call. It’s comforting to know that angels are watching over us. It’s even more comforting to know that Jesus is watching over us, because he rules all things in heaven and on earth for our benefit.
Prayer: Lord Jesus, you sit at God’s right hand and rule all things for the benefit of the Church. When accidents happen, when troubles come, when life becomes difficult, remind me that it is enough to know that you have me and my future in your hands. Amen.
