马太福音27:62-66：62次日，就是预备日的第二天，祭司长和法利赛人聚集，来见彼拉多，说：63“大人，我们记得那诱惑人的还活着的时候，曾说：‘三日后我要复活’。64因此，请吩咐人将坟墓把守妥当，直到第三日，恐怕他的门徒来把他偷了去，就告诉百姓说：‘他从死里复活了。’这样，那后来的迷惑比先前的更利害了。”65彼拉多说：“你们有看守的兵，去吧！尽你们所能的把守妥当。”66他们就带着看守的兵同去，封了石头，将坟墓把守妥当。”
有趣的是耶稣的敌人实际上也听到耶稣的话，并明白了他所说的第三天要复活。为什么门徒们反而好像没有听懂呢？这点一直困扰我。但我想他们就是拒绝相信耶稣死了，所以也阻断了复活的想法。我们也会这样。我们属灵的生命中有盲点。或许是我们不明白，或许是我们没听见，或许是我们根据自己的先入之见来解释一切，并阻断了真理。我们都该祷告，在我们学习经文的时候要敞开我们的心思意念，使圣灵可以清理我们心中的模糊之处。
耶稣的敌人希望能确保耶稣的故事终止在十字架上。他们没料到的是他们的行为反而进一步证实了耶稣复活的真实性以及耶稣是谁。罗马士兵把守耶稣的坟墓。彼拉多下令让士兵用他的封印封了坟墓。这样就没人用耶稣的尸体捣乱了。但他们没能解释耶稣从死里复活，也没能解释天使把石头滚开。福音书的作者精心为我们证实了耶稣的死亡和复活。我们可能对某些事情含糊不清，但请不要对耶稣的死亡和复活含糊不清。
祷告：主耶稣，看看我的坟墓我就知道我会再次复活，这是因为你从你的坟墓中复活了，并应许凡是活着相信你的都永远不死。谢谢你，让我摆脱了对死亡的恐惧，并真切明白了你的死亡和复活！阿们。
Matthew 27:62-66: The next day, the one after Preparation Day, the chief priests and the Pharisees went to Pilate. 63 “Sir,” they said, “we remember that while he was still alive that deceiver said, ‘After three days I will rise again.’ 64 So give the order for the tomb to be made secure until the third day. Otherwise, his disciples may come and steal the body and tell the people that he has been raised from the dead. This last deception will be worse than the first.” 65 “Take a guard,” Pilate answered. “Go, make the tomb as secure as you know how.” 66 So they went and made the tomb secure by putting a seal on the stone and posting the guard.
It’s interesting that the enemies of Jesus actually listened to Jesus and understood that he said he was going to rise again on the third day. Why didn’t the disciples seem to understand that as well? That has always bothered me. But I think that they just refused to think about Jesus dying and so blocked out the idea of the resurrection as well. We can be that way, too. We have blindspots in our spiritual lives. Maybe didn’t learn. Maybe we didn’t listen. Maybe we just interpreted everything according to our preconceived notions and blocked out the truth. Pray that you will study the scriptures with an open mind and heart and that the Holy Spirit will clear up whatever fuzzies you have in your mind.
The enemies of Jesus wanted to make sure that the story of Jesus ended on the cross. What they did not realize is that their actions would only further prove the reality of Jesus’ resurrection and who he is. Roman soldiers guarded the tomb of Jesus. Pilate had them seal the tomb and put his seal on it. No one was going to mess with the body of Jesus. But they didn’t account for Jesus rising from the dead, or for angels rolling away the stone. The gospel writers meticulously verify Jesus’ death and resurrection for us. We may be fuzzy in our minds on some things, but let’s not be fuzzy in our minds about the death and resurrection of Jesus!
Pray: Lord Jesus, I can look into my own grave and know that I will rise again, because you rose from your grave and promised that whoever lives and believes in you will never die. Thank you for freeing me from my fear of death, and for being so clear about your death and resurrection! Amen.
