As a Chinese person， I have never heard of Lao Tzu saying something like this, but its content has some truth to it because people are often unhappy due to the past and worried about the future, but the antidote is not to live in the present as it says here, but living in Christ.

作为一个中国人，真的没有听说过老子说过这样的话，但是其内容有一定的道理，因为人常由于过去的事而不高兴，因为将来的事而忧虑，不过解药不是这里说的活在当下，而是在基督里。

Trust the past to God’s mercy, the present to God’s love, and the future to God’s providence.–Augustine??

相信过去在于上帝的仁慈，现在在于上帝的慈爱，未来都在上帝的供应与保守之中。——奥古斯丁??

As with this quote, interestingly I hadn’t heard Augustine say this either, but its content is awesome because of what God has done in Christ (Ephesians 1:3-14),

we know that our past is full of God’s mercy, we have God’s loving-kindness with us present, and He will lead and provide us in the future. In Him we have every spiritual blessing, as He has so earnestly taught us:
