马太福音26: 63-68：63大祭司对他说，“我指着永生神叫你起誓告诉我们，你是神的儿子基督不是？”64耶稣对他说：“你说的是。然而，我告诉你们，后来你们要看见人子坐在那权能者的右边，驾着天上的云降临。”65大祭司就撕开衣服，说：“他说了僭妄的话，我们何必再用见证人呢？这僭妄的话，现在你们都听见了。66你们的意见如何？”他们回答说：“他是该死的。”67他们就吐唾沫在他脸上，用拳头打他；也有用手掌打他的，说：68“基督啊，你是先知，告诉我们打你的是谁？”

说到耶稣，我们不能两边倒。我们要么赞同他要么反对他；我们要么相信他要么弃绝他。他给了我们很多关于末日的警告，这样我们就能做好准备，称呼他为我们的救主，我们的王。请不要浪费耶稣今日给你的机会，为了你的救恩，请相信和依靠他。
祷告：主耶稣，当我看到你在审判时遭受到如此可怕的苦难，这让我悔改。因为我知道我能活着，是因为你的恩典。请继续在我心里做工，好让我谦卑地俯伏在你面前，我的主我的神，继续寻求你的慈爱和宽恕。这样，当你带着荣耀降临的时候，我看到你的时候不会害怕。阿们！
Matthew 26
Matthew 26: 63-68: The high priest said to him, “I charge you under oath by the living God:Tell us if you are the Messiah, the Son of God.” 64 “You have said so,” Jesus replied. “But I say to all of you: From now on you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of the Mighty One and coming on the clouds of heaven.”65 Then the high priest tore his clothes and said, “He has spoken blasphemy! Why do we need any more witnesses? Look, now you have heard the blasphemy. 66 What do you think?” “He is worthy of death,” they answered. 67 Then they spit in his face and struck him with their fists. Others slapped him 68 and said, “Prophesy to us, Messiah. Who hit you?”
They put Jesus under oath and charged him to answer the question. “Are you the Christ, the Son of God?” Jesus answered them clearly by saying, “You have said so.” It’s like our expression, “You said it!” It was an emphatic, “Yes!” Then he quoted loosely from Daniel 7:13 that spoke of the Son of Man coming in glory. The Jews would have known this reference as well as we would know John 3:16. He showed them, from Scripture, that he was the fulfillment of God’s prophecy, and that he would fulfill the prophecy of the Messiah coming in judgement on the last day.
You can’t say that he didn’t warn them. On the last day, when Jesus comes in all his glory, he will raise the dead. He will take those who believe in him to heaven. Those who have rejected him will face their judgement to eternal damnation. Can you imagine how those who spit in Jesus’ face will feel on that last day? They beat him with their fists and slapped him and ridiculed him. What terror awaits them! And they won’t be able to say, “You didn’t warn us.”
We cannot sit on the fence when it comes to Jesus. We are either for him or against him. We either believe in him or reject him. He has given us ample warning regarding that last day so that we can be prepared to greet him as our Savior and our King. Don’t waste the opportunity that Jesus gives you today to put your faith and trust in him for your salvation!
Prayer: Lord Jesus, when I see how terribly you were treated at your trial, it calls me to repentance, because I know that for the grace of God, there go I. Continue to work in my heart to humbly kneel before you, my God and my Lord, and to seek your mercy and forgiveness. Then I will see you in glory when you come and not be afraid! Amen.
