马太福音28：5-10：
5天使对妇女说：“不要害怕！我知道你们是寻找那钉十字架的耶稣。6他不在这里，照他所说的，已经复活了。你们来看安放主的地方。7快去告诉他的门徒，说他从死里复活了，并且在你们以先往加利利去，在那里你们要见他。看哪，我已经告诉你们了。”8妇女们就急忙离开坟墓，又害怕，又大大的欢喜，跑去要报给他的门徒。9忽然，耶稣遇见他们，说：“愿你们平安！”他们就上前抱住他的脚拜他。10耶稣对他们说：“不要害怕！你们去告诉我的弟兄，叫他们往加利利去，在那里必见我。”
你知道什么是圣经中最常见的命令句吗？就是这几个字：“不要害怕。”神学家们称其为福音祈使句或福音命令句。这不是律法，而是福音。这就像当你在地下室听到龙卷风预报的汽笛声，你 的爸爸说：“不要害怕。我们在这里很安全。”上帝和我们说话的时候，声音也同样充满慈爱和权柄：“不要害怕。”
你害怕什么？当你和别人谈论你的恐惧的时候，你随时可以在圣经中找到对应的应许。害怕死？耶稣说：“不要怕。复活在我，生命也在我；”为你的未来害怕？圣经说：“我向你们所怀的意念是赐平安的意念，要叫你们末后有指望。”（耶利米书：29:11）感到孤独？我搜索圣经中的“我与你同在”，总共得到了21条结果。
所有这些应许都能在耶稣的复活中找到根源和保证。如果耶稣从死里复活，他就能信守他做出的每一个应许。因为他活着，坐在天父上帝的右边，让这些应许得以实现。所以听听天使和接下来耶稣对那些妇人说的话，并将其铭刻在你的心上：“不要害怕。”

Matthew 28:5-10: The angel said to the women, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. 6 He is not here; he has risen, just as he said. Come and see the place where he lay. 7 Then go quickly and tell his disciples: ‘He has risen from the dead and is going ahead of you into Galilee. There you will see him.’ Now I have told you.” 8 So the women hurried away from the tomb, afraid yet filled with joy, and ran to tell his disciples. 9 Suddenly Jesus met them. “Greetings,” he said. They came to him, clasped his feet and worshiped him. 10 Then Jesus said to them, “Do not be afraid. Go and tell my brothers to go to Galilee; there they will see me.”
Do you know what the most common command in the Bible is? It’s these words. “Do not be afraid.” Theologians call this a gospel imperative or a gospel command. It’s not the law, but the gospel. It’s like when you are in the basement when the tornado sirens are going off and your dad says, “Don’t be afraid. We’re safe down here.” God speaks to us with the same voice of love and authority and says, “Don’t be afraid.”
What are you afraid of? You can find a Bible promise to address everyone of your fears. Afraid to die? Jesus says, “Don’t be afraid. I am the resurrection and the life.” Afraid for your future? The Bible says, “I have plans to prosper you, to give you hope and a future” (Jeremiah 29:11). Feel lonely? I did a bible search for the words “I am with you,” and came up with 21 results.
And all of these promises are rooted and guaranteed in the resurrection of Jesus from the dead. IF JESUS ROSE FROM THE DEAD, THEN HE WILL KEEP EVERY PROMISE THAT HE EVER MADE, BECAUSE HE IS ALIVE AND AT GOD’S RIGHT HAND TO MAKE THEM COME TRUE. So listen to the words the angel and then Jesus spoke to the women and engrave them in your heart. “Do not be afraid.”
Prayer: Lord Jesus, as long as you are near me, I will not be afraid. And I know that because you rose from the dead, you are always close by and never far from me. In my anxious moments, be my hope and quiet my heart with your many promises. Fill my heart with thoughts of you so that there is no room for fear. I ask this in your name. Amen.
